The WMACouncil meets bi-annually, once in the spring and again in autumn immediately preceding the annual WMAGeneral Assembly.聽 The General Assembly is the supreme decision-making body of the WMAand its meetings are open to delegations from all WMAconstituent members, as well as observers and other invited guests.聽 In addition to its Council and General Assembly meetings, the WMAhosts and co-hosts other conferences and seminars to enhance collaboration across the international medical community and to advance the policy agenda of the organization.
